The Fresco name is associated above all with Minnis. The construction (high-twist yarn, open plain weave, moderate to substantial weight) makes a suiting that breathes, resists creasing and tailors properly, and there is nothing else that does all three as well.

It sells against its own handle: customers who feel it in the bunch often reject it, and customers who have worn it order nothing else for summer. That gap between how a cloth feels and how it wears is one of the more useful things to understand about buying cloth.

Beyond Fresco
