Fabricantes y comerciantes de tejidos

Un fabricante de tejidos, o fábrica, teje el tejido. Un comerciante selecciona tejidos de varias fábricas, pone su propio nombre en el muestrario y los vende a los sastres. Cuando un sastre le entrega un libro de muestras para elegir, estos son los nombres que figuran en él.
