Fabricants et marchands de tissu

Un fabricant de tissu, ou filature, tisse le tissu. Un marchand sélectionne des tissus auprès de plusieurs fabricants, appose son propre nom sur le livre d'échantillons et les vend aux tailleurs. Lorsqu'un tailleur vous tend un livre de coupons pour choisir, ce sont les noms qui y figurent.
